Application for the Actor and Actress of the Film ¡°Kiwi Fruit¡±

Kiwi Fruit, a film planned by a Chinese film producer, will start shooting in New Zealand in October 2008. For convenience and reducing unnecessary costs, some actors and actress will be selected from New Zealand.

1.      Roles we are looking for:

1)      Actor No. 1: named ¡°William¡± in the film, a young Kiwi and a PhD student fianc¨¦ of Actress No. 1 ¡°Yafang¡±, aged between 22 and 30, 175-185 cm tall

2)      Actress No. 2: Yafang¡¯s Aunty, Huiming, Insurance Consultant, a Chinese lady, aged between 40 and 45, 160-170 cm tall

3)      Actress No. 3: Yafang¡¯s friend and neighbor, female, Maori, aged between 18 and 28, 160-175 cm tall

4)      Actress No. 4: Yafang¡¯s friend and neighbor, female, Kiwi, aged between 18 and 28, 160-175 cm tall

5)      Actor No. 3: Husband of Huiming, Kiwi, Engineer, aged between 40 and 50, 175-185 cm tall

6)      Actor No. 4: William¡¯s father, Kiwi, aged between 45 and 55, over 175 cm tall

7)      Actress No. 5: William¡¯s mother, Kiwi, aged between 45 and 55, over 160 cm tall

8)      Actor No. 5: Herry¡¯s father (Henry is Yafang¡¯s good Chinese friend), Chinese, aged between 45 and 55, over 170 cm tall

9)      Actress No. 5: Henry¡¯s mother, Chinese, aged between 45 and 55, over 160 tall

10)  Actor No. 6: boy, Huiming¡¯s son, half Kiwi half Chinese, aged between 6 and 10

11)   We also need other supporting roles such as a pastor, Huiming¡¯s ex-husband, etc.

Note: Actress No. 1 and Actor No. 2 will be selected from China

2.      Documents required for your application

1)      Complete and sign the application form

2)      One passport size photo

3)      One full size photo showing you from head to foot

4)      Your CV

5)      $30 non-refundable application fee by cheque payable to West-East Link (NZ) Ltd

3.      Time frame

The application deadline will be 10th of July 2008. The first-round selection result will be announced on 30th of July 2008. Final selection result will be available by the end of August 2008.
